Three armed robberies, possibly by the same perpetrators, occurred last Friday night, according to this bulletin just in from the UC Police Department: "At approximately 9:55 p.m. a robbery via gun occurred at the intersection of Euclid and LeConte Avenues. A short time later at 10:17 p.m. an armed robbery occurred at Tamalpais and Shasta Roads. UCPD is aware of an additional armed robbery which occurred at 10:55 p.m. on the 1100 block of Curtis Street in Albany. The suspects were last seen fleeing Curtis Street in a red car. In all three incidents the suspects were described as two Black males of an unknown age wearing dark clothing, one wore a black hooded sweatshirt and one was armed with a silver handgun." UCPD warns pedestrians to be alert while walking, to walk with at least one companion whenever possible when walking at night, and to carry a cell phone in order to alert police quickly. Of course, after being mugged, you might not have that cell phone anymore....
