This Glenview neighborhood hangout prepares and serves mostly exemplary and always inventive Italian dishes in a warm and convivial setting. Begin your meal with the startlingly good gorgonzola panna cotta or a platter of casarecchia, Sicilian pasta with sweet onions, dandelion greens and milk-braised goat. The grilled pork chop with cherries and pickled rhubarb is a marvelous entrée, and don’t miss the tangy chevre cheesecake or the luscious chocolate-date pudding for dessert. Unusual and impressive (primarily Italian) wine list.
