We double-checked with Rachel Lederman, an attorney who is working with Kayvan Sabehgi, and his name is spelled correctly in this story. It is Sabehgi -- not Sabeghi.

You do manage to correctly note that Mr. Sabeghi is co-owner of Elevation 66 Brewing Company in El Cerrito. However, on November 11, 2011, the online El Cerrito Patch reported (http://elcerrito.patch.com/articles/injure…), "U.S. Army spokesman Troy Roland told Patch that the Army has no record of Sabeghi being deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan," as Sabeghi claimed on video of his arrest shot by KTVU.

It's curious that neither EBX nor, so far as I know, any other news organization has followed this up.
