The husband of US Senator Dianne Feinstein has been selling post offices to his friends, cheap.
The USPS IS ON RECORD TO OPPOSED ANY CONFLICTS OF INTERESTS IN CONDUCTING POSTAL BUSINESS.
With 2 days’ notice, the Stamford, Connecticut historic downtown post office closed on Friday September 20th, creating uncertainty and a hardship for customers. Breaking several rules, regulations and laws applicable to it the Postal Service has also slated the building for a quick sale, avoiding public outcry.
Certain postal customers and the Center for Art and Mindfulness will contest the actions of the Postal Service at the Postal Review Commission in Washington, D. C. that regulates the postal service.
“This is another outrageous action of the Postal Service in its attempt to downsize its operations without regard to the needs of its postal customers, employees and other interested parties who wish to take part in the change of use of these historic post office monuments and architecturally distinct buildings", said Debra Sherwood, the Executive Director of the Center For Art and Mindfulness.
The Center for Art and Mindfulness is a Connecticut nonprofit organization organized to operate an art exhibition and education center that includes mindfulness training.(see Face book page)
