Re: “Bay Area Agencies Push for Less Eco-Friendly Plan

If a rebuttal to electrical cars was something a bit more specific and knowledgeable than: "take up more resources than can be sustained for any length of time" I might respond. But not to goobledegook. Clearly if you go to the website you will read how future solar+battery will provide. And there will not be enough area on a multi-family rooftop to provide the needed power for more than one family.

Re: “Bay Area Agencies Push for Less Eco-Friendly Plan

The goal of Plan Bay Area, to reduce Green House Gases, has been exposed as ineffectual by experts:

The other goal of providing AFFORDABLE HOUSING is a bit more complicated.
When everyone can charge their electric car, for free, from solar panels on their roof, public transportation will become irrelevant and everyone will be clamoring for the necessary single family home that can provide it.

The philosophy that dense housing is more sustainable will be drastically negated in the not too distant future.
