Re: “Getting Away with Murder”
I am appalled to read that an innocent man, for a man should be considered innocent until proven guilty, can be accused of such a horrendous crime with little to no evidence at all. I am a resident of Oakland and as much as I want murderers, thieves, and drug-dealers off the streets, this is not the way to do it. OPD does not have the right to go around picking innocent people who they want to convict and going as far as tainting the evidence and even disappearing it just so that person can get convicted. The only thing that this is creating is another group of victims of crime, innocent people being wrongfully convicted, only this time the perpetrators are members of the OPD.
