A scool is a school. I am a 7th grade student of AIPCS. THis school is awesome. I don't spend most of my precious schoool days sitting with bozos getting babysitted.

It surprises me how the author's of these articles never ask a thing about how the students feel and how the teachers feel. I myself is a 7th grader at AIPCS2. to say all these things except the money part are false. You people would never know the truth if you didn't go to the school. We are the ones going to the school and not you so you people would never know a thing.
We do not get the consequences of the humiliation, racism, sexist and all those false things you have mentioned in the article. We instead get a smile or a pat on the back by Dr.Chavis. If we are not doing well, we are told to try harder but never humiliated. I don't know what test scores has to do with being unnacceptable. It is very acceptable. We work hard for what we want,high test scores. It is mainly what we want and not actually the teachers.
Asians are considered more passive. I am a Chinese student. other articles have said this school is unnacceptanle because it mainly serves the Asians. Race does not matter. You the author is being racist. This school still serves American Indians. This school is free to everyone. You said that we got our licenses renewed. We worked for it in April. I was one of the protesters and worked hard protesting for what we wanted,for AIPCS to stay open. Our parents even got up to protest even with our weird chinese accents.
Tis school is not so called!!!!!! We leaarn a lot. It is a place where I get a chance to feel safe. Unlike Roosevelt and other schools in Oakland, we do not have the constant threat of being beat up. I stay healthy by doing real P.E. I go out after school seeing kids from West lake . American Indian has discipline that help the students learn to be mature. Other schools spend a big chunk of time babysitting students. In aamerican Indian, we start class immediately and learn so much. Thats why we are so prepared for the test.
I hope you understand that we had our votes for the renewal because our voters care more about the future and the community instead of the money.
