Re: “Treasure Island: A Radioactive Isle

The Navy can easily do an epidemiological study on the long term health effects that growing up in the island had on people. It has detailed information about the families who lived there, and it can locate them without a problem. But the Navy doesn't want to do that, because they know that as soon as they prove what everybody knows scientifically, they will have to pay millions of dollars in compensation, and will lose more than a hundred million dollars, because SF will not want to buy the island anymore. Same with the developers: if the truth about the island is found, they will lose a great deal. And by consequence, it's the same with the mayor of SF, who just cares about how to put more money in the pockets of Lennar and other developers.

Lots of profits are made on the backs of the current and past residents of this island. Cut the BS. Stand up fight back.
