Housing a rabbit outside is not acceptable under any circumstances, as the article says. It's fine to give a bunny playtime outside, but it has to be in a completely enclosed space, and the rabbit needs to be supervised the whole time. A rabbit that lives indoors will be perfectly happy and healthy, no matter what the size of the rabbit, as long as they aren't in a cage all day. Ample space is key. Leaving a rabbit outside unsupervised is irresponsible.
