The National Park Service used date from Japan and data collected in other areas of the park to discredit the oyster farm.
Those who destroyed this business and the lives of its workers made it obvious they were lying. Read Amy Chua, Naomi Klein, Ellen Brown, Alex Cockburn if you want to get the actual details of how these evil deals went down. The critiques against Perkins are just the criminal elite trying to cover their tracks.
If you really believe that the most advanced financial economies accidentally loaned out billions to people who couldn't pay it back, I got some of Saddam's "Nuklear weapons" to sell you.
