Thank you Piero, your analysis is dead on. At last night's assembly a proposition was submitted to OO to endorse taking over buildings to further the cause. The Black bloc was present, and there were some rude interruptions while the issue was discussed in our open democratic process. This was not tolerated. In the end, any endorsement for these types of action was OVERWHELMINGLY denied by a vote of over 60%. That does not mean it won't happen as individual groups, but OO is determined to stay aligned with OWS and it's codes of conduct, along with the code of conduct Anon has put forth. Anything other than these standards are not from OO as a whole.

Why not now indeed? No massive monetary policy changes? You are OK with that? You don't mind a government that is so greedy they can't even agree to balance a budget? Sept 11 was a symptom, not a cause. We were basically given no choice but to accept "their" ideology and their cause. It is a new world, the protests of old do not compare to what is unfolding in our world today. Never before have the people of the world had the power to choose their own governments en masse. Never before have we had instant access to real-time video devoid of sensors. We are not just a few pot-smoking campers causing trouble. We are doctors, lawyers, teachers and every other person standing next to you. We are here to stay, we will not go away until we take back our country from these thugs.
