Re: “The Kreayshawn Myth

Hahaha, funny to read this chump Minnus' comments. Pretty wrong on all accounts there you pathetic troll. She does "sale" or sell, and has caught the industry by storm. She's never used the N Word in her music, and is only publicly attached to a tweet she sent quoting some DMX lyrics. The irony is that morons like you will keep perpetuating the controversy, resulting in more exposure and more sales. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the few influential bands that have lasted over 20 years and they just hired her to direct the music video for their first single. That is not some Rebecca Black, flash in the pan vote of confidence, let me tell you.

I'm glad I found this article, as it is the only thorough journalism I have seen to objectively and accurately explore her recent rise in popularity. In a world of manufactured artists, she is a rare example of somebody you can go back and retroactively watch that rise given the youtube/tumblr/twitter updates over the past year and a half. It is fascinating stuff and I wish her continued success.
