Re: “Shane's Campaign to Free Leonard Peltier

Wow James Simon, it sounds like you might have gotten stuck in the FBI & Fox News navel gazing epidemic. Have you noticed who wrote American Indian Mafia ? Have you thought about all that Trimbach has to gain by writing such audacious lies ? He is simply covering up his own complicity, so of course he's going to paint AIM as the bad guys. He's written a whole book to manufacture a persona to appear like a victim of AIM.

I know some of the people talked about in that book. They are deeply respected elders and spiritual leaders. And Shane Gray is expressing something he is passionate about. His heart & spirit are his guide. I am grateful for his profound compassion & commitment to getting Peltier's case known. The world would be a better place if we all had his courage to stand for justice & what it right. Thank You Shane & Leonard. ~ All Our Relations.

Re: “Mountain Lion Killed in Berkeley

OH how deeply sad. I remember vividly when the Palo Alto PD shot that poor young male out of the tree. It was filmed for all the world to see : http://www.ktvu.com/news/3314255/detail.ht… It was disturbing and heartbreaking. The kids in that neighborhood were very upset about the shooting... and the crazy adults told them "They did it to protect you." Which totally confused the kids. It did not make sense to them to have a beautiful living creature violently shot on their behalf.

As the more "intelligent" species we seem to think we are, it's up to US to be creative and learn to adapt to living in Mt Lion Country ! After all, we ARE in THEIR Territory... They were here FIRST. WE are the intruders.
