Re: “Prop. 8 Might Have a Sponsor After All

This is Unconstitutional and is a violation (among other things) of the Separation of Church and State clause and the establishment clause of religion. These anti-marriage folks base all their anti-marriage ideolgies and gay bashing on stone and bronze age religious ignorance. IF Imperial County is all that rich then perhaps they could stand a trillion dollar lawsuit for the damages that they have done to lbgt community across this nation not to mention California.
Naturally they would complain about Judge Walker; who reached his decision with hard facts and not the illogical emotionalism of the anti-marriage crowd. I have seen all the anti-marriage folks at work throughout this nation in the political area, in the courts and in the legistlatures. They would kill their own mother if it meant getting their Christian laws made civil law--and they have done so in places particularly such as South Carolina, Florida and most of the old Confederate States with Land as their leader and their so-called Arizona 'think tank'. We should not be shocked to see them involved in a corruption scandal ,now or in the future,in which they have paid off a judge or legistlature memebers to rule their way. They are a bunch of bigoted hypocrits and are very unamerican and are anything BUT christian--witness their lies, distortions and Nazi propaganda scare techinques. They have no respect for Constitutional Law, or the rights of others who does not follow their line of religion or philosophy. They have convicted themselves and now that they have made their own bed--they do not want to lie on it as they should. The mixing of church and state always results in bad civil laws and raises the crime rate exponentially---example of this is the Prohibition amendment to the US Constitution which had a religious origin, heavily supported by churches and resulted in the rise of the Mafia and crime of the 1930s.
