Re: “The Bacon-Wrapped Economy

It seems to me that some in the "Cultural Arts" may be suffering from a case of entitlement themselves. Maybe they should establish a viable busness plan instead of being dependant on contributions from individuals, industry and tax payers.. We're not all going to be rich. I am not wealthy by any means, however I am not looking at the next guy jealously and coveting their possessions. No body owes you or I anything.

Re: “In Search of East Bay Tea Parties

The moment that you join a "group" you are likely being handled. I would like to ask a question? If taxation was the solution to our societies woes then why are we in our current economic situation? I ask this of the republican-tea party crowd. Where were you during the eight years of Bush while the government was increasing in size and the Bill of Rights and Constitution were being pissed on? Democrats-Liberals. The democratic party turned on Cindy Shehan the moment she criticized the establishment democrats. Where are you now? The wars continue. Black torture sites increase. Talk of nukes against Iran continue. We all are being handled. Google "Hegelian dialectic." www.infowars.com

Re: “Who Will Vote to Tax Cannabis in 2010?

I uncompromisingly believe that marijuana should be legalized. It is a person's right to live their life how they choose. It is a matter of liberty and justice. I don't have to agree with their choice, just respect them. Though I am very much opposed to taxation in general, marijuana should not be taxed or regulated more than any agricultural product. It's just not fair. It may seem childlike, but fairness still matters in my book, not profitability.
