Re: “Pro Arts Gallery

I was knocked out by Tony Speirs and Lisa Beerntsen's work which was at the Kuhl Framing shop at 22nd and Franklin. It's easy to find if you look to the East corner when you stop at Broadway and 22nd. They are co-studio partners and their work couldn't be more different, other than the rich painting skill. One is beautiful images from nature transformed in light yet complex compositions, while the other's are playful, provocative graphic images transforms by rich painterly portrayals. Don't miss the Little Losers series. Prints also available if you like them, and aren't ready to spring for the whole thing. Their work will remain up through the end of the month. You can also google their names to see lots of work on line. I loved it.
