Re: “"How Berkeley Can You Be?" Thwarted by Berkeley

10 years ago I moved in with my brother, in Berkeley. I didn't have to many friends then, I just moved to the East Bay and all. These girls came to me and envited me to the parade. They said were not going to watch the parade were going to be in the parade. We put on face paint and marched through the street.

I felt like for the first time, I found a place where I belong.

Re: “The Ghost of Andy Warhol

the best part was the room with grass in it
or was it all the cool silver stuff
or was it the old school habatrail multi room style
or was it all the cute girls
or was it the costumes
or was it the huge collection of quality art
or was it.....

Re: “30 Years of East Bay History

It was good to see that in the 2004 section of East Bay History you wrote about the stuff the people at the Liminal, Ego park, Nimby, Lobot, the Command Center and the rest of the art warehouse's as well as what me and my crew were doing at the Noodle Factory back in the day.

I think we were all just trying to have fun and be creative at the time; however Looking back at the whole thing and after hearing the stories people have told me, it seems like we really made things happen in the community. Most of us have moved on to other things now but it's good to know that we made a little blip in history.
