Re: “A's Fremont Deal on the Line

I have been an A's fan for 25 years, and I will not be traveling to Fremont to watch the team. Too inconvenient. I can't believe that the powers-that-be in Fremont are supporting a ballpark that is not located along the BART line. This is the 21st century, not the 1950s, for crying out loud. When Oakland's city fathers built the Coliseum in the 1960s, they had the decency to put it right next to the projected BART route, making it a convenient destination for the entire East Bay, including Fremont. Now, because Wolff got some cheap land and Wasserman/Haggerty want to prove that Fremont is a "big league city," the rest of the East Bay has to suffer? Wolff, Wasserman, and Haggerty are three selfish guys who deserve each other.
