Oakland, Berkeley, And East Bay News, Events, Restaurants, Music, & Arts
The problem with making broad, sweeping generalizations such as everybody hates these is that it undermines the validity of your article when the reader does not agree. While Im sure there are elements of truth in your writing, as a mild claustrophobic, I for one prefer this style of buses with the wide aisles, high ceilings and abundant windows. Why don't I see my point of view represented in your article?
I understand that some may have problems with the seat configuration of these buses. However, I see elderly riders hopping up into these high front seats all the time. If ones physical limitations prevent them from using traditional public transit and they need more customized attention, East Bay paratransit is a viable option. My grandmother is a big fan of that service.
