Oakland, Berkeley, And East Bay News, Events, Restaurants, Music, & Arts
So apparently you are trying to find me. What exactly do you want? Have I ever threatened you? No. Have I ever said anything hurtful towards you? No. So exactly what do you want? I think you feel that so many people disagree with you, that you find some kind of joy in harassing and trying to pin crimes on random people. I got one word of advice..... grow-up.
"We have local public schools where, unlike public schools in other parts of the nation, teachers and/or the school district are not able or willing to use discipline or expulsion to deal with the serious behavioral issues in the classroom presented by these troubled individuals."
You are completely wrong. That is not the way to deal with the problem. "How about I just kick all the "troubled youth" out on the street so they can do the shit that you are complaining about in the first place. N-word, B-word? That is not relevant at all to the discussion, so please stop using it as an argument. But, what Laura did is completely unacceptable. She started accusing random kids of commiting acts against her son and her property (ie. Michael and "Max") and even went to the extent of calling the police on people using this comment box. Honestly, she seems to be putting her son and his friends in a whole in which they seem to not be able to get out of. In short, she systematically turned most of Berkeley High against them.
PS: Her son and his friends were not helping by writing on this forum threatening others. He put himself in a worse situation than before.
Thank You for bringing up exactly what everyone has been saying. His mother is the one that is making it worse for her son. What people have to realize is that by the time they are seniors that they cannot blame their own problems on others. People have to take responsibility for their own actions. Insulting my grammar does not put away from the fact that you got hit in the leg by a baseball bat. Over-controlling mothers who accuse people of actions that they did not take (ie. accusing "Max" and Water Safety) are ultimately the ones that are at fault.
Teenage Wasteland and Laura,
I am the problem? Honestly you do not know me, so don't say shit like that. Honestly I agree with other kids on here; if you do not like the public school system, then put your children in private schools. I am not the problem, obviously you are for not controlling your own kids. By the way, I expect a 35 year old male with a bachelors degree to write and have a better vocabulary than me. Just because I have not had as much education than you does not mean I am fucking stupid. Honestly, Laura you are the one who needs to shut up. You call the police on children you do not even know, you accuse Krasnor of things he did not do, you accuse "Max" of things he did not do. You are the one who needs to grow-up.
Teachers have enough to deal with these days. It's hard to keep track of all those iPods when you have 35-50 people in your classes. So let's be realistic.
Laura and D. Cloudwalker,
Both can not say anything, because you have not experienced the problems that us youth are experiencing. Of course all these are serious problems but this article is completely over-exaggerated and Laura seems to be making matters worse by name dropping to the police for people who had nothing to do with her son's mishaps.
