Re: “Emeryville City Council Meeting Hot, Hot, Hot

My letter sent to Dick Kassis and the board... Richard Kassis: I was really disappointed in your response last night. When I say you are in the back pocket of Wareham I say this figuratively. I am sure you are not paid by Wareham Development. What I mean is that the cities actions continue to speak volumes in how they continue to back Wareham with very little repercussions. Also, you make it sound like Wareham Development has a perfect record. My understanding is that previous buildings they developed also had leaks. There are also some questions as to if they are following certain ordinance for noise pollution coming from one of Wareham Development’s buildings across the street. To that end, your logic was flawed last night when you basically repeated the rhetoric Wareham Development recently published. It tries to blame everybody except Wareham Development who made the 50 million dollars on The Terraces. If we were to continue with the logic that we should blame the architect, contractors, and anyone, but Wareham Development then who is to be held accountable? You state it was the city that required Wareham Development to build The Terrace. So based on your logic the city of Emeryville is to be blamed. You need to rethink your logic and look at Mr. Robbins latest quote “I am ultimately responsible for creating The Terraces.” With that in mind, please tell me where the buck stops? I think it stops with the $50 million Wareham Development made from The Terraces. -- Wareham Development

Re: “Letters for the week of April 18-24, 2007

Rich Robbins finally admits to something. He states " I am ultimately responsible for creating the Terraces". Now he needs to step up to the plate and buy our condo back! http://www.warehamsux.com
