Nitin Sawhney is one of the most distinctive and versatile musical voices alive. Firmly established as a world-class producer, songwriter, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, orchestral composer, and cultural pioneer, Sawhney has become a latter-day Renaissance man with his contributions to music, film, video games, dance, and theatre. An acclaimed flamenco guitarist and classical/ jazz pianist, he has worked with a host of celebrated artists including Paul McCartney and Sting. This rare U.S. appearance mixes South Asian musical influences with a variety of other genres such as electronica and jazz. Sawhney presents an intimate trio that gave their debut performance on the heralded radio show, KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic.
