This Bay Area nursery offers site-specific and drought-tolerant California native plants. Its goal is to enable successful habitat restoration and enhancement projects throughout the Bay Area. It has an experienced staff that will help you match the right species of plant to the specific habitat. Plants sometimes need to be ordered and grown one to two years ahead of time. Watershed also can assist with the design of your home garden or restoration site.

Westbrae Nursery isn't the largest nursery in the East Bay but it does have a nice range of products and services. It has a wide selection of four-inch annuals and perennials and succulents. It has several indoor and outdoor fountains and containers for plants. In addition, Westbrae provides a complete selection of organic and synthetic fertilizers and pesticides for those who don't want to get their hands dirty. Westbrae will pot your plants for you, special order plants, or deliver for an extra charge.

Western Garden Nursery has plants: big ones, small ones, flashy ones, drab ones. A larger nursery, it carries a wide variety of plants and gardening accessories: fertilizers, fountains, equipment, and pots. Western also has a range of moss baskets, hanging baskets, and custom-made baskets for the gardener who's short on space. And it has aquatic garden supplies, too. It provides landscape consultation, design, installation, and maintenance.
