Bars, Clubs & Coffeehouses: Sports Bars

This sports bar in San Ramon used to be the site of the Outpost Casino before it was closed down due to a failure to purchase a gambling license. This sports grill and bar features typical buffalo wings and garlic fries along with various draft beers and big-screen TVs. The sports bar's VIP room features a private bar and can be rented out.

Your classic, competent campus sports bar, Pappy's (formerly Blakes on Telegraph) is home to approximately one million television screens; lots of football fans; a more ambitious food menu than you'd typically find at a campus-area sports bar; and, it should be noted, a very cheap happy hour.

In 2005, Ricky's was ranked the number two sports bar in the country by Sports Illustrated. It's living up to that reputation today by offering all the sporting television packages so sports fans don't have to miss any game. There are numerous televisions throughout the bar showing any game you want; from UFC to PGA. Be sure to check out their food menu.

This small sports bar located in East Oakland offers most of the usual sports entertainment packages on its televisions. Customers can also enjoy a full bar.
