Support Queer Women-Owned Establishments!
Over the last decade, the Bay Area has lost bookstores, restaurants and other community spaces that have been so integral to the Queer community. Most recently, The Lexington, San Francisco’s last-standing lesbian bar, announced it would be closing based on high rent and low turnout.

So, we’re hoping to draw a little attention these establishments this year, particularly during holiday shopping and reveling season. After patronizing your local lez establishments on Dec. 6, join East Bay Express’ Managing Editor, Anna Pulley, at the WhiteHorse Bar for bevs.
