Dear Armen

, Thu., Oct. 8, 8-10 p.m.
Dear Armen
Dear Armen follows the story of a gender-queer researcher, Garo, as they study the life and work of Armen Ohanian, an enigmatic performer and survivor of the early 20th-century anti-Armenian pogroms. An interactive-theatre experience integrating a blend of Armenian dance, erotic performance, and live music, Dear Armen weaves together the voices of three generations of Armenian women. Unveiling fragmented legacies of genocide and displacement, the narrative kaleidoscopes pieces of stories that highlight the complexities of survival. $5-$16
