Re: “Fist of Flour Doughjo

I loved my slice of pizza from the Doughjo. The dough was perfectly crispy on their thin crust and I've even had their mega thick slice- which caused a pizza paradigm shift. I crave it now. No other pizza will do anymore. And it is totally worth the drive to the Laurel.

Re: “Acme House of Music

Excellent service, with a quirky vibe. The owner is a genuine entrepreneur who loves both people and music. The guitar section is by far my favorite selection in the shop. Stop by for a good convo and good music. I strongly recommend it.

Re: “Venga Paella

What a great neighborhood restaurant for dinner. I brought a group of friends on a Thursday, first off there is ample parking, service was great and there is ample choices on the menu. After eating and drinking and we played Giant Jenga in the back room.

Highly recommend this place for large parties.

Re: “Blackhawk Museum

For anyone who enjoys automotive history, or the art of design and beauty, Bkackhawk will not disappoint. Showing some of the most breathtaking examples of pre-war elegance, technological advancements, and legendary racing, this museum has taken the exhibition of automobiles to another level. Each car stand on it's own against an empty black background, and expertly lit to accentuate it's unique shape and design. This Museum truly blurs the line between engineering design, and fine art. This is a must see for any, but for some, it will really be a life changing event.

Interesting warehouse collective of artists. The location is definitely not for the faint at heart, but if you get yourself there you will certainly not be disappointed. There is a variety of events - exhibitions, concerts, movie screenings. There is often drinking around a campfire after an event.

Re: “Dharma Publishing Bookstore

This bookstore carries a lot more than Buddhist texts. They have a variety of books on meditation, yoga, healing, etc. Also, some wonderful children's books. They also have a selection of Tibetan art "thankas" on canvas and poster paper. There are numerous items from Nepal such as singing bowls, incense, and repousses. They also have many kinds & colors of meditation cushions. A wonderful trove of spiritual treasures.

Great clothes and really nice salespeople. The clothes are very versatile - can be worn to all types of occasions, casual or more dressy. They are flattering, comfortable, and unique. I recommend going to the store for style advice and taking advantage of the sale.
