Re: “Constant Detritus

"Dostal's forms preserve their workaday thingness while hinting, as assembled, at illegible texts." Exactly--from the curb to the wall via alchemy.

Re: “Let Me Down Easy

One of my favorite productions at Berkeley Rep this season - along with Mike Daisy. BRILLIANT monologues delivered with skill, intelligence and emotion. Well done Berkeley Rep. Well done.

Re: “Bright Futures on Broadway

I've seen the show for the past fifteen years and every year it gets bigger and better. I can't wait to see this year's show and what Ivy has in store for us.

Re: “Briones Flora and Fauna Hike

I believe this hike is not at Tilden Park, but at Briones Regional Park. You can find directions to Briones on the web. See you there.

Re: “Ignite! 6th Annual Expo

I use to think business was stuffy, full of greed and sterile. Then I went to the Ignite Expo for the first time last year. Now I believe in the goodness of local businesses, of those who are trying to make our society better. Ignite was not only inspiring, it was eye opening.

Re: “Ignite! 6th Annual Expo

Ignite - could really mean "inspiring"! I went 2 years ago & of course - was "inspired" by all of the start-ups & true local businesses doing their thing. Now as for this year, I'm in it myself! We'll see how it goes... I'm sure I'll be in good "company" hahaa (pun intended.) Success 2 ALL!

Re: “Bay Area Poets Coalition Open Reading

a well attended gathering, BAPC has been around over a third of a century; yup 35 years plus, still going, fairly articulate bunch, some even know a few things about reading and writing; if the weather cooperates the event moves to the great outdoor backyard patio, bordered by Strawberry Creek
