Ignite - could really mean "inspiring"! I went 2 years ago & of course - was "inspired" by all of the start-ups & true local businesses doing their thing. Now as for this year, I'm in it myself! We'll see how it goes... I'm sure I'll be in good "company" hahaa (pun intended.) Success 2 ALL!
I went last year and it was really fun. I enjoyed the new businesses that were launching and the stilt walkers were cool too.
I don't believe in God, but I believe in Tony Serra.
this is SWEET! shared it on our facebook! http://bit.ly/bar5Vl

April 2009 marks the debut DVD release of BAY AREA CYPHER, a performance documentary that blends live freestyle presentations with short interviews to document the unique creativity of Hip Hop in the San Francisco Bay Area. The project expands beyond stereotypical presentations of commercialized Rap music by capturing the spontaneous and uniquely organic energy of free styling. Through the Hip Hop elements of rhyme and dance this documentary highlights the spiritual and communal aspects of Hip Hop culture, showing how improvisational freestyle is key to manifesting a higher energetic vibration.
This book club sounds awesome! I would love to go to the next meeting. Can someone email me with the book that you all are reading so I can catch up? libbyisgangster@yahoo.com

This dream interpretation workshop ran through 2008 but is no longer offered at the Castro Valley Library.
Please check our website for new events www.aclibrary.org/branches/csv.
This event actually took place on August 28th in 2007 - Alex Leviton will not be appearing at the Orinda Library tonight.
We thank you for taking the time to list our events here at the Orinda Library. While Alex Leviton will not be here this evening, we are hosting a wonderful Story Swap for Adults tonight at 7pm, featuring guest storyteller Jeff Byers talking about The Trouble of Love.
My name is Jecquin Irwin. I have started a website for the transgender generation. Please take a look at my website www.transgenderurb.com. and notice there is nothing to degrade us transgender people like most sites to. I'm tired as being show as men in dresses or girls in boys clothes. I would like to know if my site can link with your site. I want to get my point across to everyone that we are not sex perverts but human beings like you. This is very important to me and I could use all the help I can get. The book is written for all GLBT and heterosexuals to learn from. I hope you too will find it interesting. Once again can we link together or if not can you post my site somewhere to be seen. contact me at Quins58@comcast.net. Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
Ms Jecquin Irwin

Re: “Castro Valley Library”
My favorite place to sit and write. Nicely lit, decent chairs, big windows looking out to flowing trees.
