A great place for great food and wine. The setting is warm and friendly, as is the staff. They also have an joining wine shop that has a wonderful selection.
I feel that everyone at Prima's is dedicated to making sure my evening is perfect. I've been eating here for years and have never been disappointed.

The entrees are wonderful, but the desserts are amazing! Very creative and artisitic!
Delicious locally sourced everything
The best place to show off the loveliness of Oakland's urban nature, the eclectic-chic Oakland fashion scene, and the happy diversity of her residents.
Superb Italian food...pastas are wonderful, try the Steak (1 or 2 people), fish is terrific. Service is very strong...sit in Bayluv's section.
Wonderful, attractive yet welcoming dining destination for everyone. Very interesting and delicious food. Dinner, weekend brunch and newly open for lunch. Only criticism is menu not easy to understand and exclusive delivery by Caviar, which has customer-unfriendly policies. Parking a challenge.

This is what I crave when I need my Italian fix.
Tim and Kevin are the best servers we have ever had.
incredibly overrated. average italian at a high price. outside of a meeting place for the 20 to 35 set, why bother. much better places available at half the price.
We have been there about 7 times over the past ten years. It is great everytime. If you want a fine dining experience in the East Bay it would be my top recommendation. Skip the overly hyped -- and not so great places -- like Chez Panisse and go here instead.
Overpriced and not that good. When in the East Bay go elsewhere.
My family and I went to this restaurant and really enjoyed our meal. My son is vegetarian and I like sea food - I thought that the service, food and prices were all above average.
Nice place, packed on a Monday Nite? Oh $5 glasses of vino
Oops, fixed. Thanks, Kevin.
That Twitter account is incorrect. I don't think they have a Twitter account. They do have a Facebook page though.
