Sooo tasty! I think they really have nailed it. Authenitcity and a california flare make this hands down the yummyest chinese in town.
Not best cheese prices, but definitely best cheeses.
The oldest in the Bay Area still has it. Pool, Burlesque, events and beer busts. Still numero uno in my book.
Darts, board games... it's pretty much heaven.
Love their cocktails - high end and tons of whiskey and bourbon choices.
Their specials say it all. Never mind it's cash only and it's a $2 ATM fee. IT'S WORTH IT.
Laid back, outside and inside seating - you can go here all dolled up for dinner (it's swanky inside) or in your jeans with the dog to sit outside. It's the perfect blend, all while being just far enough away to make it not too hard to nestle up to that bar for another smooth cocktail.
After moving to the East Bay, I thought nothing could match Fort Funston - until I met Point Isabel. The views are totally different and breathtaking. I went from the coastline at Funston to the span of the Bay overlooking San Francisco and being able to see at least 3 bridges at all times - all while my pup romps around off leash with other (mostly) well behaved dogs and awesome owners.
Delicious and in a perfect spot to keep it just busy enough and not too busy so I can always get my fix. Their almond morning bread is mouth watering.
Ashkenaz has different, authentic, live, vibrant dance music every night, such as Salsa, Cajun, Rock, Blues,Swing, Reggae, Zydeco, Folkdance, African, Caribbean, Brazilian, etc. The cost is very low and often includes free dance lessons.
