Re: “Stop Blaming Artists and Musicians for the Ghost Ship Fire. Blame People In Power Who Screwed Up.

When somebody in American society is functioning comfortably with "no visible means of support" you have to wonder how they pull off this miracle of walking on financial water. Do they have a trust fund? A lucrative but undeclared source of income like custom-made dollhouse furniture?

But usually the answer is one of three things: selling drugs. Selling sex. Or various forms of public assistance...but in that let us include living with and sponging off parents.

Alex Ghassan was an "up and coming film maker" who moved all over the country and had two children--at least two, "daughters"--so how did he live? What is the average income of an "up and coming" film maker? HOW DID HE SUPPORT HIS ROCK AND ROLL LIFESTYLE?

How much child support did he die owing?
