This Marxist-fascist film reference is good and points to the social confusion within East Coast Cities, Ivy Schools and Euro cities. And across all media genre. For instance, the 1925 best seller was An American Tragedy promoting baby killings while simultaneously setting up the Christian Church as scapegoat. 1913 gave us the international Federal Reserve and a little later the income tax slave system. Wilson further added the problem of WWI which caused Lenin and Trotsky to enter Russia with American gold to create the first Marxist-fascist state that cause world conflict and divisions and deaths for decades. All these social principles are in Communist Manifesto at the end of Chapter 1. The time precursor was around Andrew Jackson's time period.
This film is an excellent find. Thank you!
What frame rate was used in the vimeo xfer ? Looks good!
Terrific news, though I think the author meant to write "need to scan each individual FRAME digitally". Can't wait to see this film!

This is all very great for young, female graduates and I'm happy for them. However, let me speak up for the older, mature female artists who did not have the benefit of today's insights and novel attitudes towards female art/artists. What about those of us who somehow navigated a tougher system several years ago but yet manage to hang on to our art practice? What about those of us who somehow manage to balance motherhood and their art? Who somehow manage to work for one's basic survival needs (and their family's) and still do their art? Who have had to keep a day job and still do their art? Whose art have never been significantly recognized or validated by the Art World and yet still keep going? Is today's inclusivity focused only on the young and upcoming? Is the concept of doing art minus the driving ambition of attaining rock star status such a dismal place to be?

"Professors, she said, should also be prepared to intervene when heated debates transform classes into racially charged environments:"
And do what?
"...he invited her to show a film of her choosing and lead a discussion about racial issues"
Well, did she?

Good story! Love Big Freedia! Renee carries herself well and I enjoy everything she brings to the table. She is beautiful successful and very classy! As far as people posting comments here under pseudonyms, hey if you don't have something nice to say...
Outstanding article, and a amazing young gifted Artist. Photos always classify 1,000 words to a picture. Yet you have incorporated words along with your art, simply amazing. Continue to express your truth, for the community and all peoples. Thank you for sharing the love.

While it might be easy on the face of it to consider Book Arts (related to my work, through which I have come to know and admire Prof. Walkup) and Dance (my son's college major) marginal. I suspect that these programs' graduates are employed in satisfying work and that the small size and accountability of programs such as these are major contributions to student satisfaction and, therefore, retention. I suspect that there are many other, proven ways for students of data science and economics to get their training in California. Mills's dance and book arts programs are unique and a drawing card. Someone has given the administration bad advice.
