Re: “Local Venues Pulling the Plug on Michelle Shocked After Last Night's Anti-Gay Tirade at Yoshi's SF

That ain't truth sweetie, it's hate, which is contrary to any legit religion out there (if you're into that kind of thing). I'm "shocked" that you could be so narrow minded. Shame on you.

I liked the comment be made about it being John Wayne to not care about whether it was published since he had been paid already.

Re: “Listen: New Music from David Bowie, Youth Lagoon, They Might Be Giants, and More

David Bowie's single "Where Are We Now" was cryptic. Was he literally showing us that the bottle is empty?

This is my interpretation: https://sites.google.com/site/fasmusicvide…

Re: “Could BMI Live Help Local Musicians Get Paid?

I have been using this from when it first started and BMI Live has helped me tremendously and I have made a few hundred dollars a year -
(Yes it helps!), The good part is if you play a venue for free - you still get payed from BMILive so if you hook up a weekly gig at your local small town venue and play all original music, then $1.50 x 10- 20 songs adds up - well if you don't have 20 originals start writing cause that is where the money is at. thanks & God Bless Brian Rill. brianrill.com

Re: “What We Like Right Now: Meatballs, Coffee, Tween Spirit

I just made those meatballs, too! They were great, despite the fact that I accidentally mixed in the paper from the package of sausage meat.

Intro to Curling was a blast when I tried. Make sure to wear gloves. My hands were frozen, even during post-class beers at The Trappist.

Re: “How Gay Is Oakland?

actually, heshimu, the bible doesn't speak about homosexuality. Not if you read in context. It does however give an example to avoid: Sodom and three other cities of the plain. And any biblical scholar (as opposed to amen-shouting head-nodding church goer) can clarify that Sodom was slated for destruction before the angels got there and that the Bible lists their sins in several places: fullness of bread, inhospitality, etc. and that men having sex with men isn't on the list. And irrespective of what you imagine their sin to be, Jesus said that inhospitality is worse. Yep, he used the word "worse".

So I'd bet my chance in heaven above yours. After all, whatever you think it is that I've done, Jesus said you are worse. Tsk tsk.

Re: “How Gay Is Oakland?

It's a good thing the bible doesn't speak against homosexuality, and at least God hasn't given us any examples of His wrath because of this. I'm glad that I can visit Sodom and Gommorrah and just hang out. Cool.

Re: “Psst...Pass it On: What We Like Right Now

Oh man, that American Horror Story opening music. For the risk of sounding like an old person...SO LOUD. I hit play on On Demand, turn up the TV because I can't hear the first few lines, look away to do something, and then I literally jump when it goes "URGGHHFKJDHSHKJ" and frantically pound the volume down button on my remote. That being said, Quinto playing powerless Sylar again is pretty sweet.
