i think you'd be hard pressed to find another project like this making such great music in California, and probably the whole country as well...
if any aspiring dj's want to get an education... look here and listen hard! it takes more that serato and a good collection... it takes years of work and a drummer like Max MacVeety!

I'm a wine snob. Dave Sharp is knowledgable about his wines without being insufferable. The Wine Mine has a great selection of snob wines at reasonable prices. The best part.......Even though I may not spend a lot of money, Dave makes me feel like a special customer each time I go into his shop.

The Wine Mine and Dave Sharp have changed my wine buying experience. I am a frugal, barbarian of a wine buyer. I mostly look for a good value with an occasional premium purchase. Dave will often "Downsell" me to a less expensive value. He will gleefully order a case or two of odd flavors that I think suit my taste and take a chance that some other wine barbarian may like them too. He cheerfully exchanges wine that just didn't suit my taste (not an empty bottle however.... he's not that cheerful) And he remembers enough about my past purchases (pretty smart guy) to steer me toward a new bottle in his ever changing inventory. The Wine Mine is just a HeckOfAWineStore.... cheers... DaveL.

We stopped buying wine at BevMo etc.---not just because of price, but because David gets to know your likes very quickly, and then lets you know when something comes in that fits. Likewise, he will readily say "you won't like this wine." It's always an honest sale.

BIG is a little more expensive than others , but the staff is knowledgeable and they have everything you need . I shop around but still buy stuff from BIG when I am in the area . Sounds like you may have an axe to grind ... Hmmmmm

Sure, but I personally LOVED my $14 burger. The bacon jam is amazing. The fries it came with were outstanding. And I think it's originating cow was happily fed on grass and other good things. Glad you found this place; it's one of my new faves!

Lawngun is right and Zelda is dead wrong. Let's face it, UC should be privatized and then they would a taxpayer instead of an enormous tax burden.
But Berkeley without UC would be just another suburb, which might be an improvement if all the 60s garbage was forced to leave town.
Bates, like his dreadful wife, is a statist-collectivist to the core.
Zelda belongs to the Becky O'Malley Far Left Nimby Club of Trust Funders who can afford to shop at Whole Paychecks and no Trader Joes in 'their' city for the hoi polloi, thank you.

What nonsense. If Bates were truly regionally minded, he'd be pushing for Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's second campus to go to Richmond or Alameda, not Berkeley. Thanks to the 2005 deal he secretly negotiated, Berkeley, with its huge budget deficits, is already subsidizing UC's use of City services (fire, police, sewers) to an annual tune of $13 million dollars and hardly needs another huge tax-exempt institution within its borders. It is true, however, that the interests of his own city are rarely at the top of the Berkeley mayor's agenda. Social justice activist? Check out his "Green Pathway" for downtown--basically a greenwashing scam for developers. Or consider his push to dismantle the zoning protections for West Berkeley's 300 or so manufacturers/6-7,000 employees plus the district's thousand artists and artisans--in behalf of Wareham and other grasping real estate speculators. this review must be about the wrong store, the people at berkeley indoor are hella rude and most of the staff has no idea what the difference between gh and advanced nutrients. true that location has been called berkeley's indoor garden since the 80's but its changed owners and the quality of this once shining star has certainly tanked...

Although I enjoyed reading your article, I found "gardenenthusiest"'s comment more interesting (sorry :) )
I knew about BIG's wide range of products and stuff (I too am a fan of hydroponics systems and the alikes) but I never met such "rude" people like gardenenthusiest mentions. Never mind anyway. Just keep posting the good stuff.
