This is the most wonderful thing i have ever experienced. I visited a forum here on the internet on the 17 October 2016, and i saw a marvelous testimonies on the forum about the good works Doctor SAM. Am Lopez Angelito from United States. I never believed it, because have never heard anything about such miracle before. No body would have been able to convince me about it not until Doctor SAM did a marvelous work for me that restored my marriage of 4 years by getting back my divorced wife within 24 to 48 hours just as i read on the internet. I was truly shocked when my wife came home pleading for forgiveness to accept her back. Am really short of words to show my appreciation to Doctor SAM for he is a God sent to me and my entire family for divine restoration of marriage. Are you in need of any help whatsoever? Does the producer of this series not realize that he's part of very gentrification that he's lampooning? And that rather than shine a light on this issue, he's just contributing to it. Potentially profiting from it. Maybe his friend Dania should have mentioned this to him rather than stating that people from North Oakland are polar bears and having him listen to a Mistah FAB song.
Poor I'm Alright Bee, down with a severe case of the bitter and twisted's, bless :D
Thoughtful piece - BTW , if your company requires a CA East Bay Purchase Agreement Addendum , my boss found a fillable form here Bay Purchase Agreement Addendum.
OMG!! This is certainly a shocking and a genuine Testimony..I visited a forum here on the internet on the 20TH OF July 2016, And I saw a marvelous testimony of this powerful and great spell caster called DR Papa on the forum..I never believed it, because I never heard nor learnt anything about magic before.. Not a soul would have been able to influence me about magical spells, not until DR Papa did it for me and restored my marriage of 8 years back to me and brought my spouse back to me in the same 48hours just as I have read on the internet..I was truly astonished and shocked when my husband knelt down begging for forgiveness and for me to accept him back.. I am really short of expressions, and I don't know how much to convey my appreciation to you DR Papa, you are a God sent to me and my entire family.. Here is his website: www.supremetemple.com. His Email: email@example.com
This was incoherent and incomprehensible if you were looking for a meaningful movie review.
Where's Royal Nonesuch Gallery ....... great work, remarkable new inspiring artists. I also agree this is a visual medium , it would be good to see more images.
One image. And how is that even shocking?
Inkworks was my last printshop of a 13 year career that started in high school trade school. I knew I would need a trade after high school. When the counselor read through the other programs and skipped through printing because "that's for boys," my rebellious nature said, "sign me up." I found the Women's Press when I arrived in SF in '84. After WP closed in '87, I worked at a woman owned and operated pre-press shop (Negative something???) in SF and then Inkworks. Then it was off to music school in '91 and a whole 'nother life. I wasn't a collective member at Inkworks, and happy to not have that responsibility after all the work of WP and its closing, but I enjoyed working there.
why wouldn't shock value equal art? do you prefer to be challenged or comforted?
One picture was not just enough but too much. Crap. Pure crap. Shock value does not equal art.
No pictures? Beautifully written but WHERE R THE PICTURES
How do I unsee this "inspiring art"?
I miss you Kiyome. I wish I had taken you up on your multiple offers of getting my nails done.
I so appreciate this article profiling theater companies dedicated to presenting diverse work. As the Managing Director of Crowded Fire Theater Company, I would like to make a clarification about the focus of our work as one stat noted is misleading.
You indicate that over "half of the works and productions [at Crowded Fire] are led by and focused on queer women of color." This is inaccurate.
We do aggressively promote diversity in the selection of the work we choose. For context, here is our mission statement: Crowded Fires ensemble produces poetic, bold theater created by new and contemporary artists. We seek to engage our community by producing adventurous work, innovative in structure, which addresses the diverse political and social concerns of our audiences.
For example, since 2009, 99% of Crowded Fire's plays have been written by women, people of color, and/or queer-identifying playwrights. Our 2016 seasons mainstage reflects 73% actors of color; 100% playwrights of color, and 75% directors of color. 75% of our directors this year are also female.
We invite you to check out our work in the future!

Looking forward to seeing this exhibit. Growing up in East Oakland, the BP were always very
Much a part of the fabric of Oakland and it's transformational consciousness. It has also been something I felt was missing- a monument in Oakland acknowledging the indelible impact the BPP has had and it's legacy continues on in Oakland and the Nation. This should happen while legacy BPP folks are around to know their sacrifice is acknowledged. All power
Fun article! Great idea on the part of Vargas and Berdugo. I'm glad the East Bay Express is keeping us (the public) up to date on what is going on in this exciting new world of art and tech, combined. Thanks.
Brilliant article. Kudos to the writer.
Where is Renee in Season 5. Seems she's been replaced.
The hip-hop reviitalization of west Oakland is way cool, but boxing?
This cruel pastime of slaveowners:
showing off their prized, brawny breeds!
OK, I understand making it our own.
But is boxing the legacy we want to hold up as our heritage?
I think not.
Long live Mohammed Ali!
Put boxing to rest in the history books.
