Geez, you mean someone actually reads those submissions?
I imagined that my "best of" would get shunted into the ether, given the unpopularity of most of what I liked.

He may know his way around a sentance but it takes a bit more than wordy rambling to craft a well written story worth reading. Try again. Le Guin could write circles around any of his work.
