Re: “California Medical Marijuana Extract Makers Get Historic Protections

Researching AB 2679 it states that on solvents that are non flammable will be allowed. So Hydrocarbon Extraction will still be illegal with ETL and ANSI certified equipment right?

Re: “Gut Feeling: Pot Eases Crohn's Disease

I am a 71 year old man who has bladder cancer. I have been using cannabis oil for over a year and my cancer has not spread, and in fact, the tumor has shrunk in size. My doctor told me that if I did not have my bladder removed and do chemo I would be dead in 12 - 18 months, and that was 2 years ago and I am going strong.

Re: “Expert: You Don't Have to Be a State Resident to Get Medical Marijuana In California Right Now

I have had my neck fused and love with Chronic Pain. I can't walk for more than an hour because of nerve damage.I am in the Anaheim area (aka Disneyland) and would like to try authentic pure CBD Oil. I will happily pay to get an MMJ card but I am from out of state. Any suggestions on where to go or who could help with questions. Just a mom wanting to have a reduced pain day to go do Disney with my family.

Re: “Plan Would Require City of Oakland To Be Part Owner of Any New Marijuana Business

Stoners are very loyal otherwise we would have lost the war on Pot...
We will only support our pot heroes be they biker gangs or cartels. Those who were against pot should never profit...
Use profits to help those of us that have suffered for the cause.

Watch for the Sacred Tokin Stone coming to your area.
Sacred stone and marijuana together what a match.

Re: “Prop. 64 Rolls Out New Ads, No on 64 Touts Unfavorable New Poll

The words "Process" and "Processing" go undefined in Prop 64. Please FIX! Prop 64 says that it's legal to PROCESS up to 8 grams of cannabis concentrates. What does PROCESS mean?

Re: “California’s Best Hash Venerated, Vaped at Chalice Awards

I had a fellow classmate in nursing school that survived childhood cancer. She received a bone marrow transplant with her brother as a donor 25 years ago. She has graft-versus-host disease and cardiac issues. These health issues caused her nursing school timeline to be longer than the 2 years of our ADN program. I keep her story filed away in my memory and whenever I meet a survivor, I remember to ask about all of those toxicities that we tell our patients about and let the doctor know that this could be the underlying reason. I agree that patients are under-educated about their treatment, even today. Working the in ER setting, I came across many oncology patients that had no clue what they were receiving. there is something extraordinary we now find out about, it has been helping fighting cancers, pains and other deadly diseases. most of us know much about Cannabis oil while most of us don't, for your cannabis and medical consultation try and get in touched with us on this email.(Hzamcannabis.CA@yahoo.com) there is nothing to fear about, once you explain to us about it, we get in touch with you as soon as possible. Hzamcannabis.CA@yahoo.com also share this with friends and families.

Re: “Expert: You Don't Have to Be a State Resident to Get Medical Marijuana In California Right Now

Not only do I have a doctors recommendation with an out of state ID, but am now a business owner for the legal and taxable sale of medical marijuana in the state of California and legally provide patients with mmj.
It's so funny, yet sad (therein lies the tragedy) to go into a dispensary and be turned away because of my out of state ID only to turn around set up an appt with the owner to become a VENDOR for them...
The irony is so thick I couldn't even vape it

Re: “Prop. 64 Rolls Out New Ads, No on 64 Touts Unfavorable New Poll

@ Leif Bierer: You're *joking*, right?! Transferring--sale, sharing, etc--*any* quantity of weed--even passing a joint--to *anybody*, including those poor "disabled veterans" you're *all* about, is presently a *felony* outside of a medical collective/cooperative; after 64, sharing up to an ounce between any other adult is completely legal, and over an ounce is only a misdemeanor!

Seriously, you tools really ought to look this stuff up *before* you post it ... !

As someone who's life has been so impacted positively by CBD Oil with a skosh of THC, I'm encouraged that these issues are being addressed.

Re: “Prop. 64 Rolls Out New Ads, No on 64 Touts Unfavorable New Poll

@Lief Bierer

Prop 64 improves things exponentially for everyone, including patients. - Most people exaggerate the small protection given by Prop 215. It does not make marijuana possession legal, and does not prevent ticketing arrest and jail. - It is ONLY an affirmative defense that can be used in court after you are arrested and it may or may not work.

Prop 64 ends all illegality of one ounce of marijuana and six plants growing in the home. That changes everything. It will cause the police not to care or be interested in anyone's marijuana.

As for disabled, needy veterans, under Prop 64, you can give any adult over 21 up to an ounce also. I'm sure there are plenty of people - in the industry and out - who would happily fill that need.

Re: “Prop. 64 Rolls Out New Ads, No on 64 Touts Unfavorable New Poll

@miles Monroe I'll name one, how about donating cannabis to a disabled veteran that can't grow his own medicine?

Re: “Prop. 64 Rolls Out New Ads, No on 64 Touts Unfavorable New Poll

@DankDave the Deceiver

lol - It's so easy to debunk your lies. - You should take your own advice. From BallotPedia:

>>>"Revenue from the two taxes would be deposited in a new California Marijuana Tax Fund. First, the revenue would be used to cover costs of administrating and enforcing the measure. Next, it would be distributed to drug research, treatment, and enforcement, including:[1]

$2 million per year to the UC San Diego Center for Medical Cannabis Research to study medical marijuana.
$10 million per year for 11 years for public California universities to research and evaluate the implementation and impact of Proposition 64. Researchers would make policy-change recommendations to the California Legislature and California Governor.
$3 million annually for five years to the Department of the California Highway Patrol for developing protocols to determine whether a vehicle driver is impaired due to marijuana consumption.
$10 million, increasing each year by $10 million until settling at $50 million in 2022, for grants to local health departments and community-based nonprofits supporting "job placement, mental health treatment, substance use disorder treatment, system navigation services, legal services to address barriers to reentry, and linkages to medical care for communities disproportionately affected by past federal and state drug policies."
The remaining revenue would be distributed as follows:[1]

60 percent to youth programs, including drug education, prevention, and treatment.
20 percent to prevent and alleviate environmental damage from illegal marijuana producers.
20 percent to programs designed to reduce driving under the influence of marijuana and a grant program designed to reduce negative impacts on health or safety resulting from the proposition.
