Re: “Best Big Play on a Small Stage

This play gave everyone in the audience a highly memorable experience. My husband and I went especially to see our granddaughter, Juliana Lustenader, the only young woman in the cast, and we were thrilled with her singing, her acting, and her speaking parts. This show should live on! Bertie Wood

Re: “Best Art Walk That's Not Art Murmur

It's good to see some print on the Piedmont area, its present wonderfulness, and its differentness and its potential; I'm also especially pleased to see the the C.K. Gallery has been highlighted. Thank you.

Re: “Best DJ Night

The article says "It turns out they all convene in downtown Oakland every Thursday night..." but it doesn't say where. Where?

Congratulations. I wish I saw it. I've seen many productions at Shotgun and looking forward to more this season.

Re: “Best Actor

I am working on my second show with Kendra and she is so deserving of this recognition. Kendra is a pro: balancing the art & craft of acting with the demands of being a professional performing artist in the bay area.

She's currently in final rehearsals playing Kristin in A Doll's House by Ibsen, at the Willows Theatre in Concord, which begins previews July 23rd.
Go see Kendra ply her craft in one of the greatest dramas ever written.

Re: “Best Art Walk That's Not Art Murmur

This is what i've been saying for some time. There are a lot of us here on the Avenue who are very very good at what we do, and we have merchants who are listening. This should go on growing into something quite wonderful. CK Gallery is only a beginning to the gallery scene that could and should exist here on the Ave.

Re: “Best Art Walk That's Not Art Murmur

I prefer going to Art Walk vs. Art Murmur. Its a little less of a scene and i can actually chill for a bit with the art & artists without getting shoved to the side by some hipster.

Re: “Best Artist

I am quite honored! Thanks EBX! Just a quick clarification; I organized the "Artists in Action" portion of the Oakland Art Murmur Flourish event. The whole successful event was organized by a large group of generous volunteers led by director Danielle Fox and other terrific OAM Board members. I love you Oakland!

Re: “Best Political Artist Collective

Cops nationwide are often used by the fbi/cia to harass, malign, mock, threaten and possibly kill the Targets. See examples of the cop's low mentality and homicidal mindset as they verbally assault me and attack my online documentations of police corruption; note that the last & related links below presents evidence of crimes by the UT police against me, AND IN THE THIRD LINK SEE HOMICIDAL CHARACTER OF FBI OPERATIVE AND ASSASSIN J. Re: “Best Political Artist Collective

FBI'S THREAT TO USA.

This is the real fbi which uses the methods and incorporates the values of the notorious Mafia.

https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/wOBl…

The fbi parades Mafia murderers around the fbi academy for the education of their agents, police, etc. The Mafia serial killers (hit men) are homicidal sociopaths and are often in the witness protection program; the fbi learns from them how the mafia uses violent, deadly and inhumane practices against Targets.
