Good. Hope the Key Route artist does the same for his illegally destroyed art. Is there a gofundme for Dan's and other artists' legal expenses on this?
Alternate title for this article: Journalist gets to go to Outside Lands for free, still manages to have a terrible time.
G-EAZY is about as Bay as you can get, and the kids these days seem to like him a lot... show some love to the leather jacket guy who used to work at Top Dog!

Black? Cops? An innocent arrested? Unexpected j
What a piece of crap the Another Planet people are! If I was there I would have asked for my money back! And don't the SFPD got better things to do?
Just adopted the sweetest pit mix named Jack in July. He is such a good boy. Oakland Animal Services really helped us adopt him and our family could not be happier. Please adopt or foster and make a furever home!!!!
Oh, no! Bummer. Now when I go back to stroll down Telegraph, I know I'll feel genuinely lost....BTW...if Powell's is that same Portland book store I remember going to about 2 years ago, they will be a nice caretaker of Shakespeare's legacy.
Some of the sweetest, most affectionate, dog friends I have are pit bulls.
I have attended several community events over the years at Humanist Hall which would not have happened but for the affordable space provided by the Fellowship of Humanity. The process for declaring a building a nuisance seems rigged in favor of newcomer nimbys like the folks who live where video was shot from. The video was clearly shot from 426 27th St., which are condos or townhouses built in 2003. It would serve the public interest to prioritize long-standing community groups operating in a commercial district over recently-arrived residents. Those residents could easily see the environment they were moving into. Now they complain but refuse to mediate the dispute. I think they bear the responsibility of accepting the community they joined rather than try to tear it down.
all you pit bull haters that think they are just vicious killers obviously only get your perspective from what you see in the news. And keep in mind generally 80% of the stuff being show on the news is negative. Here's a quick lesson for you. Pitbulls were originally bred to be nanny dogs. They would watch over infants. They were the original baby moniter. Anyone can train any breed to attack or be vicious...key word there is TRAIN. These dogs are not born vicious they are taught this behavior or they are abused to the point that they finally stand up for themselves. Pit bull are one of the best and loyal breeds there is. It's very disheartening to see such narrow-minded people in this world still.
Giving out more child mauling pit bulls is not going to solve anything. Put them down
LANDLORDS need to stop banning pets from their properties. This would enable many people to have pets or keep the dogs they already have.
Thomas Lo is a real estate developer with connections to Community Development in Oakland...
Humanist Hall has been in operation since 1935. It is an invaluable resource for alternative and low income people and organizations. This is OUTRAGEOUS POLITICAL WARFARE FROM DEVELOPERS. And ...why would the City allow a residential development to be 1) on that totally commercial block of 27th St. and 2) located next to a Community Center known to hold numerous public events?
It's a shame when our shelters become pit bull sanctuaries run by nutters. I will not do business w a shelter that promotes pit bulls.
Pitbulls aren't dangerous breeds, only dangerous people that breed them. And what a negative and hateful thing to say when these lives are at risk. Smh....
You cannot adopt your way out of this over breeding problem. These dangerous breeds will be placed in homes and someone will be attacked. I hope when that happens this shelter will be sued as they should be.
Ridiculous charge. What the city should be concerned with is whether it is structurally and fire safe.
