They've got cheap drinks, friendly bartenders, free popcorn, a jukebox, and cheap drinks.

One time i went here and almost picked up an Atari handheld computewr for twenty bucks, and decided against it. I regretted it ever since. I always find an excuse to come here and lose myself in all of their amazing weird junk, imagining different projects that can only be accomplished with this old washing machine or that old record player needle. its oddly awesome as a date place.
I know it is more of a grocery store, but they also have an awesome sit down section and take out menu.
I know, not creative, but its tradition. And their sundaes will kick your ass.
The devil chicken and waffles is awesome, especially if you, like me, demand chicken to be not attached to the bone and minus all the gross cartilaginous stuff. And GREAT COFFEE.
They ahve excellent food (now with REAL FRIES) and great staff members, not to mention a great drink selection and cool atmosphere. The people watching from the covered patio is great, too. And, ahem, trivia night.
Even when slightly off (even they are sometimes not fully up to par), their deep dish pizzas are still heaven on a plate (though probably also a heart attack on a plate; but what a grate way to die!) Nothing beats their deep dish pesto pizza.
always something new and so very friendly
Never Fails, always the best, always cheap, winner!
Old Crow has been a calm and collected forward moving power house of emerging to established art and culture for three years now. 2012 has really solidified their emergence as a leader in contemporary art expansion here in the East Bay. They are not afraid to take risks and continue to build a strong, thoughtful, creative, and diverse program. Big Ups!
Well ran, good quality and selection.
Great Vinyl, what else is there to say?
You've heard it before & it's still true. Amazing staff, service & goods. A great place for people to meet & their pet "cocktail" parties are divine. Love is in the air over there.
Wonderful new gallery showing established and emerging local artists.
The Gallery is specialized in promoting emerging Bay Area, mainly East Bay artists. About 150 artists get a chance to exhibit at the gallery each year.
Offers opportunities for talented upcoming artists to show their work and for art lovers to see excellent current works.
Re: “Tay Ho”
Ever since the new owner took over, this place has been transformed into a modern Vietnamese restaurant. Although it shares a franchised name to make the amazing Banh Cuon, the menu is authentic Vietnamese with French influence. Iit is a family restaurant, as mom does all the cooking and the owner and her brother does the serving. Vegetables and herbs are sourced at local farmers market, as is the tofu, beers and wine. But the owner is so understated about it all it is refreshing! The lunch hour is hectic, but go for dinner and it is one of the most relaxing places to go for yummy food and drinks. She installed bike racks and planter boxes (which she waters with left over water from guests tables!) on the sidewalk.
