Re: “Roundup Saloon

So, what are the required fields to submit to this thread and where do I find them. I'm in Sacramento and will be advertising your club for the performance of Tim Barnes and the Five Grand Band whom you have successfully had before. In your past events you didn't list them. Dan Stanton is their publicists and plays bass in the band. This is for March 12 performance. Thanks Sylvia Rogers.
PS many years ago in the dark ages I think I sang there with a small jazz combo. Can't remember their name.

Re: “Bellanico

Wonderful, attractive yet welcoming dining destination for everyone. Very interesting and delicious food. Dinner, weekend brunch and newly open for lunch. Only criticism is menu not easy to understand and exclusive delivery by Caviar, which has customer-unfriendly policies. Parking a challenge.

Re: “Filippos Oakland

My family and I went to this restaurant and really enjoyed our meal. My son is vegetarian and I like sea food - I thought that the service, food and prices were all above average.

Re: “Warehouse Cafe and Bar

Neat kitschy place. Food is pretty good as well. Later in the evening the place gets eclectic, and a bit trashy. One quote I heard last night was, "It's like a drunken WalMart in here." Great beer selection, but only in bottles. Their drafts are just the usual suspects.

Re: “Ocean View Field

This is a great pickleball venue. We actually play from 4-6pm on Tuesdays right now, not 6-7:30 pm. And someone will let you borrow a paddle no need to rent one.

Re: “Shan Dong

After 22 years in a very nondescript building one experience a tradition likely hundreds if not thousands kid years in the making. Having heard an introduction on NPR just yesterday about "The Noodle Road" discovering a living gem representative of the pathway from Asia to Europe was quite a find and treat.

My son and I were verging on hunger when we say down. By the time our chicken, noodle, eggplant and famous dumplings arrived, we dove into and relished each.

The unique sauce is enough to get your rear into a seat.

The portions are huge! Do not order too much unless you can take home for a snack later on.

Re: “Starbucks

Off the beaten trails. Nice place to relax, write, spend time that's usually not so crowded and has a decent view of trees.

Re: “Victory Burger

I liked it too! But the bathrooms...could have asked for a little more.

Re: “Borgo Italia

That Twitter account is incorrect. I don't think they have a Twitter account. They do have a Facebook page though.

Re: “Wally's Cafe

Wally's is awesome. It's really unlikely to find good Lebanese food. This hits home pretty close.

Re: “Nature Vegetarian Restaurant

Nature Vegetarian serves tasty, skillfully prepared and reasonably priced dishes a la the "monk's food" or vegetarian cuisine developed by Chinese chefs thousands of years ago. At last one can enjoy "roast pork" without worrying about the carcinogen content of the pork fat! Vegetables and "seafood" over pan fried, Cantonese noodles were also good. It's also a plus that N. V. is open for dinner in an Oakland neighborhood with mostly daytime only establishments.

Really great food. I ordered from the pre menu and it was really good. The place has a nice patio.

Re: “JD's Restaurant and Pies

If you want a great Reuben or french dip, you have found the place. This is not the oily metallic looking meat you can get at some chain restaurant. The meat is delish and tasty!

Re: “Skates on the Bay

I loved the clams and mussels at happy hour. And the Margharita was sweet and potent. Long live happy hour. Seeing sailing and motor boats as well as birds and people gliding by on their gliding apparatus was a wonderful plus.

Re: “Thai Delight Cuisine

Thai Delight is a place for Authentic Thai food. The decor is very attractive, and waterside alike.
