Re: “Walden Center and School

This school is an academic fraud. Send your children here and they will be behind their peers by light years at the end of 7 years. We have been paying for for extra tutoring in spades for the last two years trying to get caught up.

It's great that your kid can work a stage, sing his/her heart out. If that is what you are looking for, this free range daycare is just the place for you.

Re: “East Bay Law School, Inc.

Will East Bay Law School reopen its door in Oakland, California? The law school was an opportunity for minority students with disabilities to learn law, otherwise many students who are disabled students might not have another opportunity at law school. The Department of Rehabilitation funded the students with disability to go to East Bay Law School. Now the doors are closed and we want funds to open the doors open again for the disabled to have an opportunity again to go to law school. Please invest in another school such as East Bay Law School in Oakland, CA

April 2009 marks the debut DVD release of “BAY AREA CYPHER”, a performance documentary that blends live freestyle presentations with short interviews to document the unique creativity of Hip Hop in the San Francisco Bay Area. The project expands beyond stereotypical presentations of commercialized Rap music by capturing the spontaneous and uniquely organic energy of free styling. Through the Hip Hop elements of rhyme and dance this documentary highlights the spiritual and communal aspects of Hip Hop culture, showing how improvisational freestyle is key to manifesting a higher energetic vibration.

The location of this event is the new Creative Arts Building next to the tennis courts and estuary at Laney College. This is at 11 - E. 10th Street, across the street from the Kaiser Building. Parking is easy on the weekends and it is 1-1/2 blocks to Lake Merritt BART. There will be signs along E. 10th Street to the Studios. Times open are Sat. and Sun. 11am - 6pm.

Re: “Laney College

The correct telephone number for information on this event is 510-336-9492. Mari Kearney, one of the artists at the Open Studio, will answer your questions or, if away from the phone, call you back as soon as possible. During the weekend, if you have questions, call cell 415-613-5268. Thank you.
The phone numbers listed under Laney College above are for Laney College administration, who do not have information about the event . Administration has been notified that I am making this comment and change in phone numbers.
