Fourth Street is one of my favorite places to spend a lazy afternoon. I'm hooked on Paper Source and LOVE that Books Inc. just moved in!

Re: “Arizmendi Bakery and Pizzeria

I bring all my out of town visitors to Arizmendi...they love it. They all want one in their hometowns.... co-operative franchises!

Re: “Café Zeste

This is a great find! A sweet cafe with wonderful food, prepared fresh and scrumptious for each order by the owner/chef. There is outside patio seating right on the edge of Strawberry Creek Park, friendly for kids and dogs. Live music on Saturdays at noon. This cafe shares their kitchen with Phoenix Pastificio which means you can buy your pasta for dinner after lunch.

Re: “FLOAT: Flotation Center and Art Gallery

What a great discovery. Just happened to notice Float Gallery while checking out a location to photograph. Very cool gallery space and the current show Inside Out is a must to see. I was also blown away when I was told that they had Flotation Tanks in the upstairs loft. How cool is that blocking out the world for a hour then returning with all your senses fully awake to enjoy the art. Book me Float.

Re: “FLOAT: Flotation Center and Art Gallery

This is the most unique art space in the area, flawless monthly art parties in an industrial setting. Check out the floatation tanks for a wild ride into inner space.....

Re: “Jerusalem Organic Kitchen

There are so many inexpensive and excellent dishes to choose from that it is hard to choose. Their wraps, full plates, and even their soups are incredibly tasty and organic too! I am very grateful this restaurant opened and frequent it often. I'd particularly recommend their falafel platter, which is a very filling meal with the best falafel I've ever had -- by far!

DiBartolos has a new casual menu for Summer/Fall 2007. It is very well suited for the neighborhood now. Great place to have drinks (Well $5) and pizzas, salad and all entrees under $20. We need to keep this place in the neighborhood. Go give it another try and support our local businesses while enjoying delicious dinner.

Re: “Toscana Ristorante

What a lovely surprise! Concord certainly has changed. This restaurant is a welcome addition to the area. Our lunch salads were not only a feast for the eyes, but for the tummy as well. I had the spinach/gorgonzola/pear salad which was wonderful. My husband had the Caesar Salad, while my daughter indulged in a simply wonderful pasta dish, again w/the best gorgonzola and sundried tomatoes. The food was great, a good value, and the waitstaff was the best ever. Thanks for a great afternoon!

The hostess is awesome! She remembers every one\'s name, favorite drink and food. We were there 3 weeks after the first visit and she said to me \"would you like your same Chardonnay?\" And she also remembered the drink order and food for everyone else on the table. The appetizers are outstanding and the thin crust pizza was not to believed. Moreover it is healthy. She uses the best ingredients and whole wheat flower for her pasta dishes and pizza. Real authentic Italian food. I can\'t say enough about the place. I\'m from Brooklyn NY and was just about to give up on pizza in California, then Voila!, we happened on the place. The atmosphere is friendly and warm and the regular customers, make it better than \"Cheers\". My guess is that everyone that eats there becomes a regular. We have!
