If youâre looking for proof that evolution is a myth, 10,000 B.C. is probably the best evidence you will ever come across. Its intellectual capacity seems to be no greater than that behind the cave paintings of Lascaux, which means director Roland Emmerich has made a movie no more advanced than 16,000-year-old drawings of horses. This prehistoric romp amounts to nothing more than an excuse to pit human beings against computer-animated extinct animals like the saber-toothed tiger and the woolly mammoth. Presented with humorless earnestness, you almost feel bad laughing when you learn that mammoths helped build the pyramids (103 min.).
Sorry there are no upcoming showtimes for 10,000 B.C.
