Re: “Hidden Wisdom

greatarchangels it's strange to read such negative criticism against the
Secret knowledge/Hidden Wisdom book.
I mean it's fine with me if you do not like a book or a person but to come up with these lies is at least dishonest. Don't you understand that if people read the book they will immediately find out how wrong you are?

You just mentioned out of context the parts that can cause doubts and fear to people leaving out the parts that are most highlighted in this book: enlightenment, verifying spiritual teachings, love for your spouse and for humanity and many others that would resonate to many people that are sincerely searching for spirituality.

It is apparent to me that you are part of the revengeful campaign against Belzebuub. You just go around the internet spreading your poison. I think it is you who has the mentality of the middle ages with your anti-religious and hateful behavior.

Stop lying and misleading. Let people come to their own conclusions. At least have some respect for them.

Re: “Cooking with Cum

I have heard about saving lots of cum and adding it to salad dressings,
That sounds hot to me. Better yet when a straight man comes to dinner.
I will take cum anyway I can get it. Go a guy to JO in my coffee once.
Also good in scrambled eggs.

Re: “A Headstrong Candida

My acting teacher, who was a Marxist, told me that with Shaw you can just read the prefaces and skip the plays because the prefaces say it all.
I have enjoyed many of his plays while totally disagreeing with his Socialist philosophy but the prefaces are also published in a single huge volume.
I recommend them as still intellectually stimulating.
I liked the old Berkeley Shakespeare at Hinkel Park, did work for them in 1980.
Orinda's too rich for my taste.

Re: “Talking About Sex — and Being Asian

Kudos and keep up the good work, Asian Communities for Reproductive Justice! Given the increasingly exploitive market forces targeting teens and parents preoccupied with current hard economic times in all varieties of ethnic communities, it's not only the immigrant Asian teens who could profit from a group like ACRJ!

Re: “Small Dogs, Lofty Dreams

About as classy as midget wrestling. The Dachshund Club of America (DCA) sez:

DCA continues to maintain that racing is bad for the breed by encouraging the breeding of dogs for that purpose rather than as examples of the breed standard recognized by the American Kennel Club. Racing also encourages the misuse of dogs not suited for this activity: Dachshunds are not designed to be a racing breed, but rather to go underground.

Re: “"How Berkeley Can You Be?" Thwarted by Berkeley

Based on the amount of enthusiasm and nostalgia I hear, I bet many residents would be more than willing to donate. I myself would contribute if I knew how. What could someone do to help?

Re: “Zahra Noorbakhsh and the Atheist-Muslim Connection

I've seen the play and it's just a comical, non-ficiton story with a creative title. There's nothing really political about it. I had to stare at the title for 30 minutes trying to make sense of it- and I'm muslim- and then finally gave up. Once I saw it, the title made sense and I guess you could say it gives you a view of some Iranians out there or on just one family. Really depends on how you interpret it. Also, this review was written poorly. Sounds like the author of this article just "expressed" the review without any editing and tried to do two reviews in one. With that being said, go see the play! Oh, but just one more thing: it's Qu'ran, not Koran. It sounds terrible when people say that. It sounds like an American speaking french without at least trying the french accent- no I'm not french- or any other language.

Re: “Summer Love and Woman's Will

I saw the show twice at Live Oak Park, and it was wonderful... a splendid cast, each contributing to a clever, funny, lovely whole.

Re: “Hidden Wisdom

you know what I just thought I'd follow up on that comment made by that guy "greatarchangels" - I've read the same book as that person talks about: Secret knowledge Hidden Wisdom, and it just does not say that at all.. Jeez. That person not only has no idea how to comprehend things but distort it completely and present in such a negative light.. well spirituality is not for everyone, that's for sure, and seeing how that person responded is obvious. The book does talk about sex, but it's not described as "greatarchangels" says it is.. It talks about "White Tantra" which is when the energy generated by sex is used differently than just to have an orgasm.. It is a very loving and wonderful way to make love to the one person that you cherish, and personally, I do it everyday. "Greatarchangels" has no idea what he/she talks about.. But that books does not talk only about sex (but obvisouly "greatarchangels" only remembers that..) it deals with all aspects of life - from reincarnation, to meditation, to the path to enlightenment and much more. I would not call it a beginner's book (Belzebuub had 2 previous books before that one that literally build a foundation for that particular book) - and Belzebuub clearly states in it that the reader MUST verify things for themselves, and clearly warns against blind beliefs.. He writes not accept what he says as truth, but to get out there and gain the experience. So, truly it is for the adept that is ready to act, not to theorize, accept or refute just because, but to actually verify things. A great many teachings in there. For the beginner, I would recommend Belzebuub's latest title: Gazing into the Eternal (which is now free to download on the author's website, otherwise buy it at Amazon).

Ralfee, I think you're a little behind the times on this one. Did you sleep through the debt ceiling debate?
