Along with multi-disciplinarian artist and activist MamaCoAtl, she is one of the headliners at August 24's Music of the Word/La Palabra Musical event; these now occur the second and fourth Sundays of every month at Rebecca's Books (3268 Adeline St., Berkeley). 3:30 p.m.
