RSS FEEDS
What is RSS?
RSS feeds are a simple way to subscribe to your favorite news from the East Bay Express without having to come to the site. With an RSS reader, you subscribe to a feed and scan the headines. When you find something that interests you, click on the link to read the complete article.
How do I do it?
First, get an RSS reader. Then follow your RSS reader's instructions for adding a feed to your list. There are many RSS readers available, some of which are free. There are Web-based readers as well as those that you download and install on your computer. Examples of free RSS readers:
- Bloglines, Feedster, Kinja (Web)
- FeedReader, RSS Feeder (Windows)
- NetNewsWire Lite (Mac)
- The Firefox browser also now comes with RSS capability.
RSS Feeds
If you're set up with a newsreader, just click on any of the orange buttons below. Your window (browser) will open a page full of funny-looking code. Ignore that, and copy the address (URL, link) into any feedreader (RSS aggregator). That should do it.
