.Outdoor Dining

Our second Annual Guide

Few regions anywhere are blessed with a climate more conducive to outdoor dining than the East Bay. Sure, the brisk fogs of summer can put a chill on things from time to time. But on those memorable summer days when the fog recedes by mid-morning and the heat isn’t too oppressive, there are few better ways to celebrate life here than with an outdoor meal or drink.

The following list of East Bay outdoor dining venues probably isn’t comprehensive, but we’ve done our best to update and expand it from last year. We’ve tried to include all the dining and drinking facilities we could think of, but certainly there must be new venues that we’re not yet aware of. Please help us improve next year’s directory by sending updates to [email protected] or via postal mail to Editor, Outdoor Dining, East Bay Express, 1335 Stanford Ave., Emeryville, CA 94608.
