Miya of the Quiet Strength A documentary on the life of Miya
Rodolfo-Sioson, the lone survivor of the November 1, 1991 shooting at
the University of Iowa. Left a quadriplegic, she nonetheless fought to
help others and made a life as a human rights activist. Sadly, she
passed away a couple weeks after the film was completed. Directed by
local filmmaker Tal Skloot (Freeway Philharmonic) (60 min.,
